Overview

To guarantee the fundamental human rights of all stakeholders—including employees, customers, and suppliers—Caelum Co., Ltd. has established and operates its Human Rights Management Policy based on basic human rights principles outlined in international guidelines such as the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and ILO Conventions.


Human Rights Management Policy

1. Non-Discrimination

  • Caelum does not discriminate against individuals based on gender, pregnancy, nationality, region of origin, race, religion, disability, political orientation, or skin color in recruitment, employment, promotion, incentives, and training opportunities.

  • The Company strives to evaluate and reward employee performance fairly.

2. Compliance with Working Conditions

  • Working Hours: The Company strictly complies with statutory working hours and respects the local labor laws of all operating countries.

  • Minimum Wage & Pay: The Company pays employees wages that meet or exceed the legal minimum wage, issuing formal pay stubs alongside compensation.

  • Overtime Allowance: The Company compensates overtime work in accordance with statutory standards.

3. Humane Treatment

  • Protection of Privacy & Rights: The Company respects the privacy of all employees and prohibits unreasonable treatment, including mental or physical coercion, abuse, threats, and confinement.

  • Healthy Work Environment: The Company guarantees employees' rights to personality, health, and rest, creating a safe and healthy labor environment.

  • Harassment & Abuse Prevention: Verbal and physical violence, workplace harassment, and sexual harassment are strictly prohibited. In cases of violation, the Company conducts investigations, protects victims, and takes corrective measures in accordance with relevant laws and internal rules.

4. Prohibition of Forced and Child Labor

  • No Forced Labor: All forms of forced labor against a worker's free will, including human trafficking, are prohibited.

  • No Retaining Personal Identification: The Company does not require workers to surrender government-issued identification cards or passports.

  • Child Labor Ban: The Company does not employ children under the age of 15.

  • Protection of Young Workers: For minor employees aged 15 to under 18, the Company protects their right to education in accordance with laws and bans them from performing hazardous duties, including night shifts or overtime work.

5. Occupational Health and Safety

  • Safe Work Environment: The Company provides a safe and sanitary working environment, conducting regular inspections of workplace facilities, equipment, and tools to prevent industrial accidents.

  • Accident Compensation: The Company maintains appropriate compensation measures for work-related accidents.

6. Protection of Customer Human Rights

  • Customer Safety: When providing products and services, the Company makes every effort to protect customer safety, life, health, and property.

  • Data Privacy: The Company complies with personal information protection laws (such as the Personal Information Protection Act) and safeguards customer data.

7. Protection of Local Community Rights

  • Employees must ensure local community human rights are not infringed upon during business operations, respecting local residents' rights to environment, life, freedom of movement, personal safety, and property ownership.


Scope of Application

  • Applicability: This policy applies to all employees of Caelum Co., Ltd.

  • Encouragement for Partners: Subsidiaries, affiliates, and supply chain partners are strongly encouraged to respect the intent of this policy and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
